Air Force military unit, operated since January 1st, 2009 and since then, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day on rescue duty. Based in the 23 rd Tactical Air Base in Minsk Mazowiecki.
The helicopter crew consists of:
- aircraft commander,
- 2nd pilot,
- flight surgeon,
- board paramedic,
- board techniques, and
- 2 survivor imitators.
The main tasks performed by the squad in peacetime, crisis and war are:
- maintaining the readiness of forces and resources in the system of national air rescue by performing roster rescue,
- secretion of forces and means of rescue in emergency situations within the European Union,
- sharing power and resources extracted from the air rescue system in crisis situations (floods, fires) in Poland.
