Super Petrel, and more specifically the model Super Petrel 100, is a Brazilian, biplane, twoseat seaplane with propeller in the push system.
It was originally designed in France in 1983 as a single wing with a 40 hp engine. The first flight took place in 1986. After a series of modifications, SMAN bought the right and began producing serial kits for self-assembly. Sold them about 100 PCs. In 1996, the law took over the Brazilian company EDRA Aeronautica and a year later strongly has redesigned the model by changing its name to Paturi. In 2001 further development of the project resulted a new construction called “Super Petrel 100” and this is precisely the hero of our shows.
Up to year 2007, more than 200 copies were produced.
In 2008 there was a further development of the construction, which since then became the name of Super Petrel LS.
